[Chapter 5]
(scene)
Its Sunday afternoon. Landon is sitting down in the living room watching the Galaxy play. He's sorta just staring into space. All of a sudden the phone rings. His mom calls from her room,
" Get that please Landon"
Landon reaches over and answers it seeming like he's a sleep.
" Uh…hello?"
He imeditly sits up.
"Oh Hey Jennifer."
"Hey Landon, how are you doing?"
"Um, ok I guess. Not great, but Ok."
"Oh…Well I just wanted to tell you I feel sorry for Jessica getting the wrong
impression. I mean, she totally blew it outta proportion."
"Ya, I know. Im the one who should be sorry though. You shouldn't of had to be pulled into this like that. Its not fair to you."
"Don't worry about it. I feel really bad, but I think I might know how to make it up to you. Do you feel like coming over and maybe going out for Pizza or something?"
Landon smirks.
"You know what, that sounds like a great idea. I'll be over at your house in about 10 or 15 minutes alright?"
"Ok Landon, see you then."
They hang up the phone. Landon goes to his room and gets dressed. He walks into his moms room.
"Hey mom im going out for a while be back laters ok? Love ya byes."
He scurries out of the room, and out of the house to his car.
